Retention

Configure and review payment recovery, cancel saves, and annual upgrade offers.

The Dashboard Retention view covers the three retention workflows Arcalotl runs after a member subscribes: payment recovery, cancel saves, and term optimization.

Payment recovery

Payment recovery settings include:

  • Enabled or disabled
  • Maximum attempts
  • Hours between attempts
  • Grace period days

The dashboard shows failed-payment attempts, recovered payments, recovery rate, and recovered revenue.

Cancel saves

Cancel-save settings include:

  • Enabled or disabled
  • Reason-to-offer mapping
  • Discount percent
  • Discount duration in months
  • Pause length
  • Downgrade target mode
  • Exact downgrade plan override
  • Tenure threshold
  • Repeat-offer cooldown

Downgrade save offers either resolve the next lower tier from the plan hierarchy or use the exact plan override. The automatic target keeps the member on the same billing interval when that lower tier has a matching active option. Accepted downgrades switch at the end of the member's current billing period. The dashboard shows attempts, saves, save rate, and saved revenue.

Term optimization

Term optimization settings include:

  • Enabled or disabled
  • Minimum monthly tenure before offer
  • Offer frequency
  • Post-dunning cooldown
  • Incentive discount field

The public offer uses the annual price configured on the same tier. Arcalotl does not create a synthetic annual price for the member.
