Notifications
Configure how Arcalotl communicates with your members and admins.
Arcalotl sends notifications to members via DM and can notify server admins of important events.
Member notifications
Members receive DMs for:
- Subscription confirmed: After successful payment
- Payment failed: Start of dunning sequence
- Payment recovered: After successful retry or card update
- Cancellation save offer: When they try to cancel
- Term optimization offer: Annual upgrade suggestion
- Subscription ending: Reminder before access is removed
All member-facing messages are sent from the Arcalotl bot account. If a member has DMs disabled, Arcalotl falls back to a temporary private channel.
Admin notifications
Server admins can opt into notifications for key events:
- New subscriber
- Subscriber churned
- Payment recovered
- Cancel save accepted/declined
Configure admin notifications from the dashboard under Settings > Notifications.
