Telegram Subscription Bot for Paid Groups and Channels
Sell access to a private Telegram group, supergroup, or channel. The bot invites each buyer, removes them when the subscription ends, and bills through Stripe on your own account.
The problem
Most paid Telegram groups run on manual work. The admin takes payment somewhere else, adds the buyer by hand, and keeps a separate list of who paid and when the next payment is due.
Telegram bots cannot add a person to a chat. Access moves through invite links, and a link that gets forwarded or reused puts people who never paid inside a paid chat.
Removal is the other half of the job. Someone has to notice that a payment lapsed, find the member, and take them out. Nobody messages the member about the failed card first, so revenue that was one card update away disappears quietly.
How Arcalotl solves this
Arcalotl runs as a Telegram subscription bot. A member opens the bot, presses Start, and sends /subscribe to see your plans as buttons. Tapping one opens Arcalotl's checkout page in the browser. The moment payment confirms, the bot sends an invite link that works once and expires after 48 hours.
When a subscription lapses, the bot removes the member with a ban, which blocks re-entry through any other invite link. A new or renewed subscription lifts the ban and sends a fresh link. The bot never removes another administrator or the chat creator.
Billing sits on Stripe, on your own connected account. Telegram Stars is not used, so pricing, payouts, currencies, and refunds work the way they do on every other Arcalotl platform. A member who links identities with /link holds one subscription that grants access on Discord, Fluxer, Telegram, and Stoat.
Key features
Single-use invite links
Each buyer gets their own link. It works once and expires after 48 hours. A paying member who misses the window sends /start to the bot and gets a new one.
Removals that hold
A lapsed member is removed with a ban, so another invite link does not let them back in. A renewed subscription lifts the ban and sends a fresh link automatically.
One chat per tier
Telegram has no roles, so a plan grants membership of a connected group, supergroup, or channel. Run separate chats when you want separate tiers.
Recovery and saves in the bot
A failed renewal reaches the member as a message with a card update link, and access stays live through the grace period. /cancel asks for a reason and offers a discount, a pause, or a downgrade before it goes through.
Billing stays out of the group
Commands run in the private chat with the bot. A command sent in the group is answered with a button that opens that private chat, so nobody's payment details are posted in front of the community.
