Agreement

Short version. You introduce communities to Arcalotl. For each one credited to you, we pay you 50% of the fee we collect from that community, for as long as it keeps collecting payments.

These Partner Terms ("Terms") govern participation in the Arcalotl Partners Program. They apply from the moment you accept them in your partner dashboard. "Partner," "you," and "your" mean the individual or organization admitted to the program. "We" and "Arcalotl" mean the operator of the Arcalotl service. Your use of the Arcalotl product itself is governed separately by the Operator Terms of Service.

Version 2026-09-08. Your dashboard records the version you accepted and the date you accepted it.

Admission

Short version. Admission is by application and at our discretion. Nothing is owed to you before you accept these terms and choose a referral code.

We admit partners individually. Approval creates a partner record in a pending state; it becomes active once you accept these Terms, provide the legal details we need to pay you, and choose a referral code. No community is credited to you before that point, and applying does not create any entitlement.

Partners may be admitted as a company or as an individual. You are responsible for your own taxes, registrations, and filings in your jurisdiction. We collect your legal name, tax identifier, and address so that our payments to you are properly documented.

How a community is credited to you

Short version. First touch wins, the creator can change it for 14 days, and after that it is fixed.

A community is attributed to you in one of three ways.

• Your referral link. Opening it stores your code in that browser for 90 days. The first code stored wins and is not overwritten by a later link.
• Your referral code. Entered by the creator when they claim a community, or in that community's Settings within 14 days of the claim.
• Manual attribution. Recorded by us, with a note, in cases where you clearly ran the launch but neither of the above was used.

One community is credited to at most one partner. The creator may change or remove the attribution themselves for 14 days after it is set; after that it is fixed unless we correct it. You may not attribute a community you own or control; such attributions are blocked automatically and voided if discovered later.

What you earn

Short version. 50% of the 2% we take from a credited community, for that community's lifetime, with refunds deducted.

Arcalotl charges each community 2% of every successful payment it collects. For a community credited to you, your share is 50% of that fee, as actually collected by us. It is not a share of the community's revenue, and it does not change what the community pays.

The share continues for the lifetime of that community's relationship with Arcalotl. There is no fixed term and no cap. If we change the program for new partners, the terms recorded on your partner record continue to apply to communities already credited to you.

Fees that are refunded are deducted. A refund that happens before a statement pays reduces that statement. A refund that happens after a statement has paid is deducted from the next one. Amounts already paid to you are not clawed back from your bank account.

Fees we never collect earn nothing. That includes payments made outside Arcalotl, periods in which a community pays no fees, and any fee we waive.

When and how you are paid

Short version. Fees are grouped by calendar month, wait 30 days, then transfer to your Stripe account on the 3rd.

Each statement covers the fees we collected in one calendar month. After that month closes, the statement waits out a 30-day holdback so that refunds inside the usual dispute window are reflected before money moves. It is then issued on the 3rd of the following month and paid.

Payment is made as a Stripe transfer to a Stripe account you connect through Stripe's own login. We do not hold or see your bank details. You are responsible for keeping that account in good standing and able to receive transfers; a statement that cannot be transferred is held, with the reason shown in your dashboard, until it can be.

Statements are denominated in EUR. A statement below €25 is not transferred on its own; its balance carries forward and pays with a later statement once the total clears the minimum.

Every statement itemises the communities it covers, the fees collected from each, any refunds deducted, and your share. Raise anything that looks wrong within 60 days of the statement being issued.

How you may promote Arcalotl

Short version. Be honest, be yourself, and do not buy ads on our name or spam anyone.

You may:

• Describe Arcalotl accurately, including our published pricing and features
• Use our name and logo to identify us, unmodified
• Publish your referral link on your own site, in your own proposals, and in direct conversations with clients

You may not:

• Claim to be Arcalotl, to speak for us, or to be an official reseller, employee, or agent
• Bid on "Arcalotl" or confusingly similar terms in paid search, or run ads that impersonate us
• Register domains, social accounts, or app listings containing our name
• Post your link through unsolicited mass messages, coupon and cashback sites, browser extensions, cookie stuffing, or any automated distribution
• Make promises about pricing, features, timelines, or results that we have not published
• Offer a rebate or incentive that is contingent on a community using Arcalotl, without telling us first

Where a jurisdiction requires you to disclose a commercial relationship when recommending us, that is your responsibility.

Leaving, pausing, and ending

Short version. You can leave whenever you want, and the communities you already referred keep paying you.

You may leave the program at any time from your dashboard. Your code stops attributing new communities immediately. Communities already credited to you continue to earn your share, and your statements continue to be issued and paid, unless these Terms say otherwise.

We may pause your code, void an individual attribution, or end your participation if you breach these Terms, if an attribution was obtained through prohibited promotion, self-referral, or misrepresentation, or if we are required to by law or by a payment provider. Where we void an attribution, we tell you which one and why. A breach that is deliberate or repeated may also forfeit unpaid amounts on affected communities.

We may change these Terms for the future. Changes take effect for communities credited to you after the change, and we will tell you before they do. We may also end the program entirely; if we do, we will give you at least 60 days of notice and pay every statement already earned.

The relationship

Short version. You are an independent business, not our employee or agent.

Nothing here creates employment, agency, partnership in the legal sense, or a joint venture. You have no authority to bind Arcalotl or to enter into anything on our behalf. You are responsible for your own costs, staff, taxes, and compliance.

Data you can see about a community credited to you is limited to what your dashboard shows: the community, its stage, and the fees and share it produced. You will not receive member data, payment details, or personal data of the community's members, and you must not represent to anyone that you can access it.

Except for amounts properly earned and unpaid under these Terms, our total liability to you in connection with the program is limited to the amount we paid you in the twelve months before the claim.
