Arcalotl is $0 a month and takes 2% of each successful payment. Stripe charges its usual 2.9% + $0.30 on top, as it would with any tool.
There is no setup cost, no minimum, and no charge in a month where nobody pays you.

Your members buy in their own language
The checkout, the bot's replies and the receipt follow each member's own language, in English, Svenska, Francais, Deutsch, Espanol or Portugues, at no extra cost. You set the default for your community once and decide whether Arcalotl follows each member from there.
Which payment methods a member sees is a separate question. That follows the plan's currency, the member's country and what you have turned on in your own Stripe account, not the language. Whichever one they pay with, Stripe charges its own rate for it rather than the card rates above, and Arcalotl's 2% is the same either way.

Prices verified May 2026. Every tool here pays Stripe's card fees on top. Flat-fee tools such as Subscord ($39 to $199 a month, no percentage) cost less than 2% once revenue passes their break-even; the Subscord comparison shows where that is.
How the fee is collected
Arcalotl uses Stripe Connect Direct Charges. A member pays, the money lands in your Stripe account, and Arcalotl's 2% is taken as an application fee on that charge. Your Stripe dashboard shows both amounts on every payment. Arcalotl never holds your funds and never sends you an invoice.
What counts as a successful payment
Any charge that settles: a first subscription, a renewal, a payment recovered after a card failed, a subscription kept by a save offer, a one-time purchase, a donation, or an annual upgrade. Refunded and disputed payments do not count. The rate is the same for all of them.
